Endoscopic Temple Lift and Brow Lift
As the name suggests, we perform endoscopic temple lift (Temporal lift) and brow lift surgery by entering through 2 incisions made in the scalp with an endoscopic camera.
Entering through these incisions and proceeding under the skin, we release the tail of the eyebrow to the bone, the skin in the temporal region to the base and the outer edge of the eyeball. Thus, we can easily pull and fix the temple area, the tail of the eyebrows and the corner of the eye, which are in this area and create a tired appearance because they hang down, and it is this liberation process that ensures the operation to be effective and permanent. That’s why hanging with a rope is temporary.

Aesthetically, the face is divided into three equal parts, occupying the upper third of the forehead (from the crest of the eyebrow to the front hairline). This area is on average 7 cm in men and 5 cm in women. The male eyebrow is less curved than the female eyebrow. The upper part of the eyebrow is approximately 2.5 cm from the middle pupil. These parameters may change with aging. Less distance indicates eyebrow droop (ptosis).
The loss of elasticity of the forehead skin due to genetics, sun damage and gravity causes drooping of the eyebrows, resulting in drooping of the upper eyelid and dissatisfaction with the appearance.
Aging causes depletion of subcutaneous fat. This causes the forehead crease, whose direction depends on the muscle below.
Why is endoscopic brow lift surgery performed?
Patients may be concerned that they look tired, surprised, anxious or irritable, and that they look older than their actual age. Patients may feel an uncomfortable weight of tissue in their eyes. Brow lift improves eyebrow symmetry. It changes the shape of the eyebrow. It reduces the function of the muscles that cause eyebrow wrinkles.

The duration of the operation is about 1.5-2 hours.
Length of Hospitalization
Since the operation is performed under general anesthesia, it is necessary to stay in the hospital for at least 6 hours after the operation. If we wish, we can discharge our patients on the same day without being hospitalized at night. Lying with the head elevated and applying ice around the eyes immediately after the operation is very important for less swelling and bruising.
Postoperative Pain
Local anesthetic fluid injection, which we use to reduce bleeding during the operation and to make the postoperative period more comfortable, prevents you from feeling pain immediately after the operation. In the following hours, if you feel a pain or ache due to the upward stretching of the tissues, the painkillers to be used are enough to eliminate it. After the first 1-2 days, there is usually no pain that requires the use of painkillers.
